Which room comes first
A guest waiting, a VIP, an arrival, a rush from the desk — one number puts the room at the top.
The phone's *To do* and the desk's Queue are in the same order: a score from the facts of the room. A check-out with an arrival today outranks a stay-over; an arrival within two hours of check-in time, a VIP, a re-clean, all add; a rush flag or a guest waiting puts the room at the top; the front office can add its own number on top of everything with a reason. The score is recomputed every time the board is read.
Guest waiting: on the desk page (or the room card) say who is waiting for which room; the room jumps the queue, the board shows the guest and how long they have waited, and the moment the room is ready the wait is closed on the story with the minutes. Every visit shows an expected ready time — the rooms ahead of it in its attendant's own queue, plus its target.
