Faults, and the recheck
One tap from the room raises the ticket; engineering fixes it; housekeeping rechecks before it closes.
On any room card, Report a fault: pick what it is — AC, TV, light, plumbing, leakage, flush, shower, hot water, door / lock, furniture, socket, Wi-Fi, pest, smell, wall / paint, other — say what is wrong, take a photograph. The severity comes from the category (a leak is critical, a bulb is low) and can be changed; some categories hold the room from sale until the ticket closes. The ticket goes to engineering's queue with an SLA clock — hours per severity, under *Housekeeping setup → Settings*.
Engineering's steps, on the *Faults* chip or the desk page: *Assign*, *Start*, *Fixed* (what was done, parts, cost). A fix creates a post-maintenance clean for the room. Then a supervisor rechecks: passed closes the ticket and lifts the hold; failed sends it back with the reason and a new clock.
Open → Assigned → In progress → Fixed → HK recheck → Closed — every step on the room's story with who and when. The desk page's *Turnaround* shows hours to fix and to close by category, and what ran late.
