People, shifts and the roster
Who is on the floor today, what each can do, and how the rooms are shared out.
Under *Housekeeping people*, every attendant and supervisor has a shift (morning, evening, night — or the hotel's own), a weekly off, zones (the floors they normally take), and what they are trained for: suites, deep cleans, public areas; a trainee is marked and is not given a VIP room. Each day the supervisor marks attendance — present, late, absent, on leave, or covering for someone. Marking someone absent frees their untouched rooms at once and shares them out again.
Credits are the weight of the work: every kind of visit is worth some (a check-out 3, a light stay-over 1.2, a deep clean 9), a room type multiplies them (a suite × 1.5), an extra bed adds a little. A day's fair share is under *Settings* (40 credits ≈ six and a half hours); an attendant can have their own. The Workload tab shows each person's rooms, credits and share, and the Forecast tab reads the bookings a week or a month ahead: check-outs, stay-overs, credits, attendants needed against attendants rostered — short or spare, day by day.
Share out gives every unassigned visit of the day to the working attendant allowed to take it with the lightest load, own floor first; a room nobody can take stays unassigned and is counted. A hotel can have this done by the night audit (*Settings → share the rooms out when the day opens*), or press the button after the roster is marked. A single room is moved from the card, with a reason.
