The checklist

What a clean consists of, ticked on the phone; the room and bathroom lines, mandatory ones, versions, and when it blocks Done.

Open a room on the floor's screen while it is being cleaned and tap Checklist. The lines are the hotel's SOP for that kind of clean: bed, floor, dusting, AC, lights, odour, pests, presentation; WC, basin, shower, hot water, flush, towels, toilet roll, soap, shampoo, ventilation — the built-in list has 52. Tap a line to tick it; tap again to untick. A line that does not apply to this visit (a dental kit on a stay-over) is greyed.

Mandatory lines are marked. By default the list is advice: Done still works. Under *Housekeeping setup → Settings*, Enforce the checklist makes Done refuse until every mandatory line that applies is ticked, and say how many are left.

Your own list. *Take a copy* of the built-in one and edit it: reorder, reword, add a balcony section, make a line mandatory, restrict a line to checkout cleans or to a room type. Publishing makes a new version with an effective date; the old version is closed and stays readable. A clean ticked against version 2 still shows version 2's lines when version 3 is in use. A list can be for one room type, or for one kind of visit, or for all.
