Signing in
Three things: the hotel ID, your email address and your password.
Signing in asks for three things, and the first one surprises people.
- Hotel ID — the number your hotel group was given. It names the *group*, not one hotel: everybody at every property under that group types the same number. It is on the platform screen and on any invitation we sent, and it is the first thing to quote if you telephone us.
- Email — your own. One address, one login, across the whole platform. Two people cannot share one.
- Password — your own, and nobody at Asar knows it.
If it refuses, the message is always the same sentence: "Wrong hotel ID, username or password". That is deliberate — the screen must not tell a stranger which of the three they got right. Check the hotel ID first; it is the one people get wrong.
After five wrong passwords the login locks for a while. It unlocks itself; an administrator on your side can also reset your password from Team & access without waiting.
Where you land depends on what your hotel group has bought. A hotel goes to the calendar, a restaurant with no hotel goes to the POS, and one of us goes to the platform screen.
