Leakage, fraud, and the investigation queue
Six questions asked of the hotel's own history every night; each opens an investigation a manager closes with a finding.
Every night (and on *Sweep now*) the hotel is asked, over the last fourteen days: does one attendant issue consumables per room far above the others' median (3×, at least 10 pieces)? does one floor use linen per room far above the others'? has one login made repeated stock adjustments (five or more)? has one attendant finished rooms in well under the target (under 40 %, three or more)? were rooms picked for audit marked ready without an inspection (three or more)? is one attendant's minibar variance over the threshold (₹1,000)? The thresholds are under *Settings*. Each answer opens one investigation on that subject with the evidence as numbers — never a second while it is open — and tells a manager. A rule (*Automation*) can open one too.
Under *Leakage*, a manager takes a case into review, writes the finding, and closes it as confirmed, explained or unfounded; every step is on the story, the subject's name on it when it is a person. Closed cases stay readable for thirty days on the queue and for ever on the story.
