How many rooms are left

The night-by-night availability sheet: rooms, out of order, sold, on hold and what is left to sell, per room type and in total.

The availability report is the calendar's free-rooms row as a sheet: one line per night for each room type, and an All rooms line under them, from the business date forward. It is the number the chart draws and the number the OTAs are sent, so all three always agree.

Do this

  1. Open Reports and pick Availability under *Reservations and distribution*.
  2. The dates fill in as the next thirty nights. Change them for a longer or a nearer look.
  3. Read across: rooms is everything you own; out of order is what maintenance has taken; sold is booked and in house; on hold is a booking still on its clock; available is what is left to sell.
  4. Export CSV if it is going to somebody.
A night where *available* reads 0 for a type is a night the OTAs already
show as sold out for it. If the room is actually there, look at *out of
order* first — a room forgotten in OOO sells nothing until it is put back.
