The close checklist is not finished
"The close checklist is not finished — every day audited (pending)." A month locks only when its mandatory tasks are done; it reopens only with an approved request once the account has the rule.
The sentence: *The close checklist is not finished — every day audited (pending), the sub-ledgers agree (failed).* With the hint: *Finish or mark n/a every mandatory task, then lock.*
Why: locking a month is a list now. The mandatory tasks — every day audited, the sub-ledgers agreeing with the books, and any the hotel has made mandatory — must be done or marked n/a first.
Do this: open Reports → Month-close dashboard, see which task is pending or failed and who owns it, finish it, and lock again.
Its neighbours:
- *The month is not over for every hotel yet — ASARSJ has 29 Sep open.* Run the night audit through the last day of the month at that hotel first.
- *Reopening Aug 2026 needs an approved request.* The account has a *period unlock* rule; raise the request and have it signed on Approvals.
- *No approval rule for reopening a month — set one on the Approvals page first.* The unlock asked for a request, but no rule exists to match it.
- *Say why the month must be reopened.* A reason is required.
