Booking the same stay again

Book again copies a stay for a returning guest, and tells you what the price would be now.

Book again on a booking card copies it: the same guest, the same room type, the same source and billing arrangement, on new dates.

It does two things carefully:

It does not copy the price. It prices the new dates at today's rates and shows you the difference against the old stay before you commit. A regular who paid ₹4,000 in August is not owed ₹4,000 in December, and the desk should see that rather than discover it on the folio.
It needs an arrival date. If the original stay's dates are in the past, it refuses until you give it new ones, rather than silently choosing.

It copies the stay, not the folio: charges, payments and any advance stay with the original booking.
