Before a hotel takes its first booking

The onboarding board lists what each hotel still needs. Work down it, then open the hotel.

A hotel is created staged. Before you open it, the onboarding board shows what is still missing, hotel by hotel. Work down it:

  1. Rates — a real tariff on every room type, not a placeholder.
  2. GSTIN — without it the invoices are not GST compliant.
  3. Staff — at least one person scoped to that hotel, or nobody can open it.
  4. The hotel's own email and phone — they print on documents, and guest replies come back to that address.
  5. Amenities, if you show them to guests.
  6. Cancellation policy — check the default matches what you actually charge.

Then open the hotel. From that moment it appears in availability, takes bookings, and its day must be closed by the night audit every day.

Open one hotel first and run it for a fortnight before opening the rest. Everything awkward about a rollout surfaces in that fortnight and nowhere else.
