Settling a bill

Print the bill, take the money, settle. Several methods on one bill are fine.

Settle bill closes the order and takes the money.

Print the bill first if the guest wants to see it. The printed bill carries the outlet, the GSTIN, the tax split and the bill number.
Payment methods are your outlet's list — cash, card, UPI, and so on. One bill may be settled across several.
A discount needs a reason from your discount list, and a complimentary bill needs one from the comp list. Both show on their own reports; neither is a quiet button.
Settling closes the table, which is what frees it for the next cover.
