Settling a bill
Print the bill, take the money, settle. Several methods on one bill are fine.
Settle bill closes the order and takes the money.
- Print the bill first if the guest wants to see it. The printed bill carries the outlet, the GSTIN, the tax split and the bill number.
- Payment methods are your outlet's list — cash, card, UPI, and so on. One bill may be settled across several.
- A discount needs a reason from your discount list, and a complimentary bill needs one from the comp list. Both show on their own reports; neither is a quiet button.
- Settling closes the table, which is what frees it for the next cover.
