What the channel manager does
AxisRooms carries the OTAs. We send it rates and availability; it sends us bookings.
We do not connect to Booking.com, MakeMyTrip or Agoda directly. AxisRooms does, and we connect to AxisRooms. They carry the OTAs; we carry the stay, the folio and the ledger.

Do this
- Connection — whether we are talking to AxisRooms at all, and with which key.
- Connected hotels — each hotel, whether its rooms and plans are mapped, what is queued to send and what failed. Send inventory and rates now pushes without waiting for the timer.
- Arrivals waiting — OTA bookings received and not yet on the chart. A booking is placed the moment it arrives; one that stays here could not be placed, and the reason is beside it.
- OTAs and logins — the extranet logins, kept encrypted, and who has read one.
What flows outward, automatically:
- Availability, whenever anything changes what there is to sell — a booking made, amended or cancelled, a room added or taken out of order.
- Rates and restrictions, whenever a price changes.
You do not press anything. A change at the desk queues a push, and it goes within about two minutes. Once a day the whole year ahead is re-sent, so that any drift lasts hours rather than for ever.
Availability sent is always the real number. It is calculated the same way the booking chart is, so an OTA can never be told about a room the hotel does not have.
